The 401B is an ultra-portable RF Spectrum Analyser designed for use on the bench or in the field. Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and with low power consumption, this versatile device can be taken to awkward locations where measurement with a bulky mains powered unit is impossible e.g. at the top of an antenna mast.
A range of popular EMC limits are programmed into the 401B - CISPR 11 Class A/B, CISPR 12 Class A/B and FCC Part 15 Class A/B - and an alarm can be set to trigger if the limit is exceeded. Measurements can be stored in memory and downloaded via the built-in RS232 interface using the supplied PC Enhancement software. Instrument set-ups can also be stored and recalled for later use. Results can then be archived as Windows Bitmap or Excel compatible files.
Three frequency markers are available with automatic seek to locate the highest emissions in a scan. Using the markers, frequencies of interest can be centered on the display and zoomed for closer scrutiny.
The device is simple to use with a large display and context sensitive help available at the touch of a button.
